Privacy Policy

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Security Policy

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

RV Rental Outlet Terms and Policies Reservation, Down Payment, Charges or Cancellations

A Hold Deposit of $250 for travel trailers and toy haulers or $500 for motorhomes is required to guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance is due in full 21 days before departure date. Cancellation more than 14 days prior to departure date will receive a 50% refund and a 50% credit toward a future rental within 1 year. Cancellation 13 days or less will receive a 50% credit toward a future rental within 1 year. Cancellation 48 hours of departure date is non-refundable. Trips over 14 days or for a Special Event or Holidays are non-refundable 21 days prior to departure date. All cancellations must be made in writing to RV Rental Outlet. Special Events and Holidays include, but are not limited to; Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, NASCAR and Country Thunder.  RV Rental Outlet reserves the right to refuse service or cancel for any reservation.

Refundable Security Deposit

Security Deposit ranging from $500-2,500 is due on the departure date. Security Deposits paid with credit card will be run as an Authorization. The Authorization will sit as a pending transaction for up to 10 business days and may hold available funds. Your credit card may have a daily limit. Please check in advance to ensure coverage of all charges before departure date. Personal and Business Checks must be paid 10 business days before departure date to allow funds to clear. A refund check will be mailed 10-14 days from return date.

Vehicle Pick up and Return

Pick up time is scheduled between 1pm and 4:30pm. Return time is scheduled between 9:30am and 11:30am only. Late return after scheduled time is subject to a Late Return Fee of $25 per hour. Vehicle must be returned in clean condition as received. Cleaning, damages or loss of equipment will be paid for by the renter. Propane tank must be refilled. Propane: $5 per gallon. Holding tanks must be emptied. Dump Fee: $85. Fuel Tank must be filled. Cost of fuel per gallon +$50 Trip Charge. No warranties are made concerning fuel mileage and fuel tank capacity. We assume no liability for fuel consumption rate. No refunds for early return, late pick up, unused days or unused miles.

Generator

Vehicles with built in generators include 4 hours per day of free generator use. Additional hours are charged at $3/hour. A generator is not necessary for normal vehicle operation. Most camp sites have power outlets available.

Mileage

Motorized rentals include 125 miles per day or free mileage. Additional miles are charged at 39¢ per mile for the first 100 miles, 69¢ per mile for the next 100 miles, and $1.29 per mile after.

Smoking

All RVs are NON SMOKING. $500 Fine

Pets

Pets are welcome with additional $500 Security Deposit. Customer agrees to clean up after their pet.

Driver Requirements

Driver must be 25 years of age or older possessing a valid identifiable US driver’s license. All drivers must be listed on and sign the Rental Agreement. Renter is responsible for reporting and payment of all parking/traffic violation. Non-reporting of violations results in $100 fine.

Familiarization Tour

Allow 30 minutes to 2 hours to acquaint all drivers with the operation of the vehicle before departure.

Substitutions

We will make every effort to provide the customer with the model requested. We reserve the right to substitute models of similar or higher grade. Should a model of lower grade be offered and accepted, liability will be limited to refund of price difference.

Dry Camping

Dry camping is not advised.  When the renter is not connected to a power source problems are likely to arise due to low battery or failure. The battery will continue to stay low until connected to an external power source. RV Rental Outlet is not responsible for the battery being low or any appliance malfunctions of the vehicle due to dry camping.  Absolutely NO refunds will be considered.

Towing

Towing is permitted for motorhomes specifically equipped with a receiver hitch. No towing apparatus of hook-up services are provided under any circumstances. Towing is approved for towing if weight meets the requirements of the motorhome. Tow charge: $90 per trip. RV Rental Outlet does not provide collision or liability coverage for damage to towed object under any circumstances.

Towing Requirements

Tuck must have approved tow rating that exceeds the weight of the trailer. Renter must provide: hitch with proper size ball, equalizer hitch (available for rental), 7-way round plug, electric brake controller (wiring and brake controllers can be installed for additional fee).

Insurance

Renter is primarily responsible for all damages or loss caused to others or their property including; tire and windshield damage of any kind. You must provide an insurance binder indication that you have primary motor vehicle liability, collision and comprehensive insurance covering every driver, RV Rental Outlet and the rented vehicle. If your auto insurance policy does not cover RV rentals, you can purchase a Loss Damage Waiver from RV Rental Outlet for a daily rate. Insurance binder must include the complete VIN of the rented vehicle, replacement value, and RV Rental Outlet at 256 E Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85201 is listed as Loss Payee or Additional Insured.

Trip Protection

Renter is responsible for the tires and windshield. An optional Trip Protection Plan is available at a Daily Rate. Trip Protection Plan includes 24 Hour Road Side Assistance with 1 Year Good Sam Membership. Purchasing membership with RV Rental Outlet offers 100% reimbursement for tire and windshield replacement. Good Sam Membership offers discounts at select campgrounds and other special offers.

Responsibility for Damage or Loss; Reporting to Police, Responsibility for Toll and Parking Violations

Renter is responsible for all damages to, and for loss or theft of, the Vehicle including damage caused by weather, road conditions and acts of nature, even if you are not at fault. You are responsible for the cost of repair, or the actual cash retail value of the Vehicle on the date of loss if the Vehicle is not repairable or if we elect not to repair the Vehicle You are also responsible for Loss of Use, Diminished Value, and our administrative expenses incurred processing the claim. Your responsibility for damage to the Vehicle may be covered by insurance you provide or the Loss Damage Waiver purchased through RV Rental Outlet. You must report all accidents and incidents of theft and vandalism to us and the police as soon as you discover them. You are responsible for paying the charging authorities directly, all parking citation, toll violations, fines of toll evasion, other fines and penalties assessed against us of the Vehicle during this rental. If you fail to pay the charges on your behalf, you will reimburse us for all such costs and, in addition, pay us a Processing Fee of $50 for each violation, fine or charge.

Maintenance & Breakdown Responsibility

Renter is responsible for checking engine oil, fluids, and coolant levels at each refueling. Any mechanical failures must be reported immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at rental pick up (up to $50 without prior authorization). Renter may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event the Vehicle is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more, through no fault of the renter, our responsibility to the renter is limited to refund of 1 Day Rent or a portion thereof. Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, appliances, cruise control, and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns. At our discretion, we may refund up to $25 per item not to exceed $250.

Restricted Areas

Vehicles are restricted from operation in Death Valley and other desert areas during hot periods. Loss Damage Waivers are void should this rule be violated. Renter will also be held liable for all damages to Vehicle; tires, towing charges and all other related expenses as a result of a breakdown. During certain periods, these areas are not habitable and could pose danger to the renter and passengers.

Prohibited Use

The Vehicle shall not be used:

  • by anyone who is not an Authorized Driver
  • by anyone under the influence of any drug or alcohol
  • for any illegal purpose
  • to push or tow anything, teach anyone to drive, or carry objects on the roof
  • to carry dangerous or hazardous items or illegal material
  • to travel outside the United States without approval from RV Rental Outlet
  • when loaded beyond its capacity as determined by the manufacturer
  • on unmaintained roads, paths or select highways including Apache Trail in Arizona
  • to transport more persons than the Vehicle has seat belts
  • to transport children without approved child safety seats as required by law
  • with any mechanical issues
  • after an accident without a police report
  • for sitting, standing or laying on the roof
